Cookie Policy
This policy lists every cookie and local-storage entry WorkingClock actually sets, matching the categories in the cookie consent banner exactly. We keep this list short on purpose: if something isn't in use, it isn't listed here.

1. What this covers
This policy covers cookies and browser local storage set by the WorkingClock marketing site and web app. It works together with our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
2. Essential — always on, no consent required
These are strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be switched off.
- refresh_token — set by the WorkingClock web app when you sign in; keeps you signed in between sessions. HTTP-only (not readable by page scripts), sent only to our authentication API, and expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
- workingclock.cookie-consent.v1 — browser local storage (not a cookie) that remembers the choice you make in the cookie banner below, so we don't ask again on every visit.
3. Functional — off until you allow it
Reserved for non-essential preferences, such as remembering a dismissed banner or panel state across visits. Nothing in this category is set today; if we introduce one, it will only run after you switch this toggle on, and this page will be updated to name it.
4. Analytics — off until you allow it
Reserved for privacy-respecting, EU-hosted usage analytics that would help us see which pages get used, without setting third-party advertising cookies. No analytics script runs today. If we enable one, it will only load after you switch this toggle on, and we will name the provider here before it does.
5. Marketing email — off by default
Not a cookie — this is your consent to receive product-update emails at the address you sign up with. You can withdraw it at any time from the cookie preferences panel or the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
6. Managing your choices
You can accept all, reject all non-essential categories, or choose per category from the banner shown on your first visit. To change your choice later, use the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer — it reopens the same panel and applies your new choice immediately.
7. Third-party cookies
We do not currently embed any third-party script that sets its own cookies on the marketing site or web app. If that changes, this section will name the provider, the cookie, and its purpose before it goes live.
8. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a cookie category, we will update this page and, for material changes, prompt you to review your consent choice again.
