General
What is WorkingClock?
A time tracking tool for freelancers and teams: a timer to track work as it happens, projects and clients to organize it, and reports and exports to turn it into something you can bill or review. It is available on web, desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux), and mobile (iOS, Android), all kept in sync on the same account.
Do I need to install anything to try it?
No. The web app runs in any modern browser — sign up and you are tracking time in under a minute. Desktop and mobile apps are there if you want a tray icon, a global keyboard shortcut, or push notifications, but neither is required.
Does WorkingClock work across my devices?
Yes. Signing in with the same account on web, desktop, and mobile gives you the same projects, clients, tags, and time entries everywhere. Start a timer on your phone and stop it later from your laptop and it behaves exactly as if you had used one device the whole time.
Pricing and plans
What's the difference between the plans?
Free covers unlimited time tracking, projects, clients, tags, and CSV export, for individuals and small teams. Paid plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) add things Free does not: PDF and branded exports, project sharing at scale, manager roles and approvals, and — on Enterprise — SSO and custom terms. The pricing page has the full feature-by-plan breakdown.
Is CSV export really free forever?
Yes. Getting your own data out should never be a paywall, so CSV export has no row limit and no plan restriction, on Free or any paid plan. PDF export, with formatting meant for sharing outside your team, is the part that is gated to paid plans.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscription management, including canceling, lives in Settings → Billing in the web app. Since checkout is not live yet, this is forward-looking: once paid plans launch, cancellation will be self-serve from that same screen, without needing to contact anyone.
Data and privacy
Where is my data stored?
WorkingClock is hosted in the EU. Full detail on hosting, sub-processors, and your rights over your data lives in the privacy policy, which this answer defers to rather than duplicates.
Can I get a copy of all my data, or delete my account?
Yes to both, self-serve, from Settings in the web app: you can request a full export of your data, or delete your account outright. Account deletion goes through a short grace period before it is final, so an accidental click is recoverable.
Who can see my time entries?
By default, only you, and anyone in your organization with a manager role or above. Project sharing is opt-in and scoped to a single project's summary — turning it on never exposes your other projects, your team's other members, or your account details.
Importing existing data
Can I import my data from another time tracker?
Not yet. CSV and Clockify import is planned but not available in the app today — for now, the fastest way to move over is to start fresh going forward and keep your old export as an archive. This answer will be updated once import ships.
