Reports and sharing

Turning tracked time into something you can hand to a client or a manager.

Filtering reports

The Reports page lets you narrow down entries by date range, project, and — if you manage a team — by team member. Totals update as you adjust filters, so you can sanity-check a number before exporting it.

The timesheet view

The Timesheet page shows the same entries laid out by day, which is a faster way to spot a missing day or a duplicate entry than scrolling a flat list. You can add a new entry directly from a day cell, pre-filled with the project, task, and tags of whichever entry you started from.

Exporting

CSV export is available on every plan, including Free, with no row limit — it is meant to be a permanent, no-strings way to get your own data out. PDF export produces a formatted, presentation-ready summary and is available on Pro and above; requesting one on the Free plan surfaces an upgrade prompt rather than the file.

Exports run as a background job — request one from the export dialog and it appears in the history list below once it is ready to download, rather than blocking the page while it generates.

Sharing a project

From a project's detail view, a manager can create a read-only share link: enter the recipient's email as a label, optionally set an expiry date, and a unique link is generated. The full link is shown once, so copy it immediately — you send it to your client yourself, WorkingClock does not email it for you.

Anyone with the link can open that project's summary without signing in and without needing a WorkingClock account or seat, and sees nothing else in your organization. Revoke a share at any time from the same panel to invalidate its link immediately.
